Final Stephen Bradley Jumping Clinic of 2013

Shera and CoCo had a great final jumping lesson with Stephen for 2013.

After weather caused the clinic to be rescheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, Margaret Rizzo McKelvy of Mythic Landing Enterprises, LLC did a wonderful job of accommodating our schedule and we truly thank her for being such a wonderful clinic organizer!!

Grid work was if full swing and it was wonderful riding with Kelley Williams and watching her with Stephens horse Luke.

Shera and CoCo worked on slowing down through the lines, lowering the heel for a steady position, independent hand work, and of course keeping her shoulders behind CoCo's.

Stephen was so helpful this year in moving CoCo up from Beginner Novice to Training.  Our goal next year is to get a Gold Medal in Training Level and move this girl up to Prelim!

Recap: Seneca Valley Starter Trials 9/29/13

Our 4 year old Thoroughbred gelding "Tebow" competed at his first competition this past weekend at Seneca Valley Pony Clubs Starter Trials.  Tebow is trained and ridden by Shera and owned by Potomac Riverside Stables.
It was a beautiful weekend for anyone able to be out and showing.  Tebow received a dressage score of 27.0 in the Baby Beginner Novice division and then went clean in show jumping and cross-country.  We are very excited for this horse's future.  He will spend the winter training and preparing for his USEA debut in the spring. 

We also want to congratulate SAS Student Grace H. and her horse Domino we went on to score a 23.8 in Dressage putting them in first place in the Beginner Novice division!!   Unfortunately a shark appeared in the water complex during the cross-country phase causing penalties.  The pair finished with a 5th place.
